Who We Are

Furry Canines Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit based in Fullerton, California and we are dedicated to the rescue and re-homing of abandoned, abused, and neglected dogs. Founded in 2016, our organization is a small family-owned and operated rescue group. We operate as a foster-based rescue and do not have a facility. Our organization is dedicated to the rescue of dogs of all breeds, but we specialize in the rescue of small dogs.

What We Do

Our organization was founded as a response to the overwhelming number of stray animals in less affluent areas of Southern California and Mexico who are often abandoned, abused, or neglected. We take pride in rescuing dogs, getting them cleaned up, treated medically, and then adopted, to give each dog the chance to have a happy and fulfilling life. We serve the counties of Orange, San Bernardino, Riverside, Los Angeles and San Diego.

Why We Rescue

 We strongly believe that every animal deserves a loving home and to be part of a family, so it is our mission to be the voices for these abandoned dogs and continue saving lives, one dog at a time. Each dog is a precious and unique companion in our lives, and it is an essential part of our mission to help others find a loving family member to create new, loving, and happy memories with. So whether you have lost a dog and looking are to find your new family member, or are hoping to adopt for the first time, we take time and pride in finding the perfect home for every animal and helping families find their furry  forever companions.

Ways to Help

As a small non-profit rescue, we rely on the generosity of our supporters through donations in order to fulfill our mission of saving the lives of dogs in need. As you might imagine, the cost to transport dogs from Mexico and medical costs are quite high and the number of dogs in need keep rising.
